Tennessee Valley Fair Gives Back with Upcoming Food Drive and Love Kitchen Day
Knoxville, TN (August 30, 2024) – The Tennessee Valley Fair is excited to announce its continued commitment to giving back to the community through two special initiatives at the 2024 Tennessee Valley Fair.
On Thursday, September 12, the Food City Food Drive Benefitting Second Harvest Food Bank will return. Fairgoers are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to help fight hunger in East Tennessee. Donors will receive $3.00 off adult admission and/or $1.00 off child admission to the Fair, making it a great way to contribute to a worthy cause while enjoying the festivities.
In addition to the food drive, the Tennessee Valley Fair, along with midway provider Kissel Entertainment, will make a contribution to the Love Kitchen. A portion of every ride wristband sold on Sunday, September 8 will be donated to the Love Kitchen. This is a fun and exciting way for fairgoers to give back simply by enjoying the rides.
Mark your calendars for these special opportunities to give back. The 104th Tennessee Valley Fair is September 6-15, 2024.
