$3,850 Raised for Love Kitchen During 103rd Tennessee Valley Fair
KNOXVILLE, TENN. (December 14, 2023) – The Tennessee Valley Fair, in partnership with Food City and Kissel Entertainment, presented $3,850 in Food City gift cards to the Love Kitchen.
“We are now in the 23rd year of the Tennessee Valley Fair celebrating "Love Kitchen Day".” said Scott Suchomski, Executive Director of the Tennessee Valley Fair, “The Love Kitchen is a deserving recipient of this donation. We thank them for giving back to our community in so many ways.”
Since 2001, a portion of ride wristband revenue from the Tennessee Valley Fair's first Sunday has been donated to The Love Kitchen. Thank you to fairgoers who rode rides on Sunday, September 10. Additionally, thank you to Food City for donating a portion of the proceeds and Kissel Entertainment for their contributions.
