What's New at the TN Valley Fair 2022
KNOXVILLE, TENN. (July 29, 2022) - New and exciting activities, events, and competitions are taking place at the 102nd Tennessee Valley Fair! Here's what is new for 2022:
- NEW MIDWAY: KISSEL ENTERTAINMENT!
- An exciting update to the Tennessee Valley Fair: a new midway provider! The Tennessee Valley Fair has partnered with one of the best midway providers in the country - Kissel Entertainment. With Kissel Entertainment’s stellar background, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for the fairgoer, East Tennesseans are going to experience new memories of a truly spectacular Tennessee Valley Fair. Kissel Entertainment provides rides for over 35 fairs, festivals, and special events across the country. Welcome to the Fair Family, Kissel Entertainment!
- AGRI-PUPPETS
- Agri-Puppets is a fun family show that teaches the importance of farming, animals, and agriculture. Educational and at the same time entertaining. Spectators join the colorful and fun-loving puppet cast to share in sing-a-longs, learning adventures, and more.
- AGSIMULATOR
- Tennessee Farm Bureau’s AgSimulator is Tennessee Agriculture in the Classroom’s way to increase agricultural literacy and awareness of agriculture’s importance. Students and adults are able to experience the feel of a real harvester cab while true ag facts and harvest simulations play.
- COWBOY ANDY ROTZ
- Hang onto your hats as you are taken on a dangerously entertaining journey into the WILD WEST! Watch in amazement as the World Fast Draw Champion dazzles you with lightning speed and amazing accuracy! Prepare to have your heart stolen when you meet Cowboy Andy’s furry friend, Bandit the K9 flame jumper!
- MOUNTAIN MUSIC SHOWDOWN - FIDDLERS' SHOWCASE
- Located at Homer Hamilton Theatre and taking place on Saturday, Sept. 10 at 5pm. This contest is a celebration of Appalachian heritage through music! Great prizes will be given away.
- KARAOKE CONTEST
- Located at the Bandstand and taking place on Fridays, Saturdays, & Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 6pm. Grab a few friends and enjoy singing at the Fair for awesome prizes!
- UDDERLY DELICIOUS CHEESE COMPETITION
- Presented by Sweetwater Valley Farms. Located at the Jacob Building and taking place on Monday, Sept. 12 at 6pm. Cheese like you’ve never seen before! Check out these incredible cheese creations for yourself.

The 102nd Tennessee Valley Fair will take place September 9th-18th at historic Chilhowee Park & Exposition Center.
