KNOXVILLE, TENN. (September 21, 2021) – The Tennessee Valley Fair is proud to announce the results from the Food City Food Drive benefiting Second Harvest. Non-perishable food items donated during the food drive resulted in 944 pounds which equates to 787 meals. The Food City Food Drive Benefitting Second Harvest took place on Wednesday, September 15 and was presented by Food City. Donors to the food drive received $3.00 off adult admission and/or $1.00 child admission for the 2021 Tennessee Valley Fair.
The Tennessee Valley Fair is looking forward to partnering with Food City to bring the Food City Food Drive Benefitting Second Harvest back again next year. The 2022 Tennessee Valley Fair will run September 9th - 18th, 2022.
