KNOXVILLE, TENN. (August 23, 2021) – The deadline to enter the 101st Tennessee Valley Fair’s competitions is fast approaching. Monday, August 30th is the last day to register your unique skills and talents into this year’s Fair.
Each year, thousands of competitors compete in the Tennessee Valley Fair. Over 3,200 competitions are offered with a variety of departments included photography, culinary arts, STEM, and more.
New competitions are being offered this year including Agri-Olympics, Student Agri-Olympics, Smoky Mountain Axe Throwdown and Sweet Goodness Donut Challenge. Premiums, or prizes, are offered through the competitions including several scholarships. Each year, the Tennessee Valley Fair distributes over $100,000 in premiums and over half of the premiums are awarded to youth competitors.
