KNOXVILLE, TENN. (August 10, 2021) – The Tennessee Valley Fair is a place to learn more about agriculture and the impacts it has on our community. In an effort to educate the public on ag, the Tennessee Valley Fair to join in on the fun this year with their special events and exhibits focusing on agriculture!
Ag-tivities include:
Agri-Olympics - Calling all individuals and teams! Become an Agri-Olympian in relay style team events and individual events for medals. "Opening Ceremonies" will take place Saturday, Sept. 11. at 2pm.
Student Agri-Olympics - Teachers vs students, schools vs schools - earn your top spot as the best Agri-Olympian of the Tennessee Valley Fair! Winners will receive medals, cash awards, and fun prizes!
Thank A Farmer - Stop by the Prosser Road entrance to talk with local farmers, enter to win prizes, and more! Congrats to Tennessee Farm Bureau on their 100th Anniversary!
Skillet Throwing Competition - Step right up! Throw a cast-iron skillet for your chance to win a prize! It's not as easy as it seems...
Other actitivites include Livestock Shows, horticulture shows, particpation from student groups including FFA and 4-H and much more!
